    The server evaluates the capture against the published template version and issues the result. The criteria do not depend on whoever inspects.

    Each failed point generates a finding with severity, an assigned owner and a resolution deadline set by the active policy.

    The owner documents the corrective action and attaches evidence. The finding is declared resolved, not closed.

    A different identity confirms the correction is sufficient. Until then the cycle stays open.

What is submitted is not edited: a correction creates a successor record linked to the original. The server evaluates these conditions before accepting the operation, and stacking roles does not switch them off.

Frequently asked questions

Is Inspect a CMMS?

No. Inspect covers the inspection cycle: templates, scheduling, capture, evidence, findings, deadlines and verification. It does not manage work orders, technicians, spare parts or maintenance costs. It runs autonomously and, where a company already has a CMMS, hands the finding over without duplicating its domain.

What is used to run inspections in the field?

The native Android application or the browser. The application delivers the inspector's work for the day, captures answers, photographs, video, location and signature, and operates without connectivity: capture continues offline and synchronizes on reconnection, without duplicating or losing work.

Can we use the inspection formats we already have?

Yes. The editor builds any template: points with numeric tolerances, killer questions, conditional logic, evidence required by condition and signatures required by role. The instance is also delivered with six corporate templates active.

What happens if nobody runs a scheduled inspection?

It stays on record as a pending, attributable obligation. The schedule generates each inspection's occurrence whether or not anyone runs it, so non-compliance is queryable by site, area and owner.

Who can verify a finding?

An identity other than whoever ran the inspection and whoever performed the correction. The server evaluates that separation by identity, not by permissions: stacking roles does not enable anyone to verify their own work.

How does it integrate with the systems we already run?

Inspect requires no prior system to operate. Where a CMMS exists, it publishes the eligible finding so that system generates its work order, and retains only the reference and external status needed to decide whether the finding can be verified.
