One order coordinates the workshop

DTP Frenos y Clutches manages services involving the customer, their vehicle, the branch, the technician, the diagnosis, parts and amounts. The solution organizes this information around a single service order.

Each unit retains its relationship with the customer and its service history. The team can see what work was requested, who received it, who is responsible and which stage it has reached without rebuilding context across separate records.

The service order stops being an isolated document and becomes the thread connecting the workshop operation.

The service journey

The workflow follows the vehicle from reception to delivery. Every status change keeps the progress visible and records who made the update.

The order moves through five operational stages: pending, diagnosis, in repair, finished and delivered. Cancellations remain identified as a separate state.

Reception with complete context

When a unit arrives, the order brings together the customer, vehicle, license plate, branch and the person who received it. It also includes the assigned technician, diagnosis notes, requested services, quantities, part numbers, labor and the total amount.

Services come from a catalog organized into categories such as brakes, suspension and clutch. The description and applicable conditions are stored with the order to preserve the historical record even when the catalog changes later.

Warranties connected to the original work

The delivery date starts the warranty period. When a claim is created, the new order is connected to the service that originated it and retains the customer, vehicle, branch and applicable warranty terms.

This makes it possible to review the earlier work and distinguish a new repair from warranty service without relying on manual searches.

Technicians and commissions

Each order can be assigned to a technician and record the value of labor. When the vehicle is delivered, the system generates the corresponding commission based on the branch configuration and keeps it pending until payment is recorded.

Warranty work is identified separately so it does not create a commission as though it were a new sale.

Customer communication

The solution prepares the service order as a PDF and automates two WhatsApp communication moments: vehicle reception and work completion. The document includes the recorded customer, unit, services, technician and amounts.

The customer receives a clear reference for the service while the workshop retains the same information in the operational record.

Operational visibility

The dashboard consolidates revenue from delivered orders, active services and pending commissions. It also shows order progress by status and allows customers, technicians and vehicles to be compared by activity during the selected period.

In each order

Customer, vehicle, diagnosis, services, technician, amounts, warranty and status changes remain connected.

Across the operation

Management can review active workload, revenue, commissions and repeat activity from the same platform.

Operational outcome

DTP has a digital workflow that follows every vehicle from reception through delivery. Daily operations and administrative reporting use the same information, while warranties, commissions and communications remain connected to the order that originated them.
